Terms and Conditions of Membership

This page outlines the overview of our membership terms and conditions.

 

For your convenience, the full terms and conditions are available when you join and will sent to all members in a PDF format. We encourage you to review them to ensure smooth and enjoyable experience at our facility.

1. Membership Term & Cancellations
Your membership term will be confirmed at the time of joining. All monthly Direct Debit memberships automatically continue after your initial commitment period unless cancelled by you with at least one full calendar month’s notice.
Important: Do not cancel your Direct Debit through your bank without first speaking to the gym. Cancelling without notice may result in additional fees and referral to a debt collection agency.

2. Club Rules & Usage
You must follow all club rules, which may be updated from time to time. You can only use the gym while your membership is active and fully paid.

3. Fees & Payments

  • Membership fees vary based on type and duration.

  • We will give 30 days' notice of any fee changes.

  • A joining fee may apply and covers setup costs.

  • Failed Direct Debits may result in a fee of up to £15 and potential referral to a debt collection agency (with extra costs of up to £30).

  • If your fees remain unpaid for more than 30 days, the full remaining balance for your commitment period may become due.

  • Additional charges may apply for things like replacing lost QR codes or changing membership type.

4. Member Referral Scheme
You can earn rewards by referring new members. Rewards apply as long as both you and your referral remain active members.

5. Membership Suspension
If you're injured or ill, you may suspend your membership for 1–3 months with 30 days' notice (we may ask for a doctor's note). Suspension extends your membership term by the same length and cannot be used as part of your notice to cancel.

6. Membership Termination

  • The gym may terminate your membership for serious or repeated rule breaches, non-payment, or false information during sign-up.

  • You may end your membership:

    • At the end of your commitment period.

    • With one full calendar month’s notice (after the commitment period).

    • Early, only if seriously ill or injured (with evidence).

    • If the club permanently reduces hours or facilities, relocates, or closes for over 30 days for refurbishment.

  • Simply cancelling your Direct Debit is not valid notice. You must give written notice via email.

7. Access & Security
You’ll receive a personal QR code or app access for entry. Sharing it with others is strictly forbidden and will result in termination and fines for losses.

8. Club Operations
We may temporarily close or adjust facilities for cleaning, maintenance, or special events. We’ll give as much notice as possible.

9. Liability
We are not responsible for lost or stolen personal belongings. Our liability for injury or damage is limited unless caused by our negligence.

10. Health & Safety
Please follow all health and safety notices in the gym.

11. Sale of Club
If the gym is sold, your membership may transfer to the new owner under the same terms unless changes negatively affect your access or rights.

12. Notices
Notices to us must be in writing and acknowledged. Notices to you will be sent to your registered address or displayed in the gym.

13. SGPT Memberships (Small Group Personal Training)

  • Includes 3 sessions per week (no rollover or overuse unless approved).

  • Payments are non-refundable.

  • Membership can be suspended only before a challenge starts, and only for one challenge in advance.

  • ​Members on 12-month SGPT plans benefit from fixed "price for life". 6-month or rolling memberships may be subject future price changes with notice.
